2026 ACRS Road Safety Reporting Award

The ACRS Road Safety Reporting Award recognises outstanding journalism that contributes meaningfully to road safety globally. This annual award celebrates journalists, reporters, and content creators whose work demonstrates an evidence-based, systems-thinking, solutions journalism approach to reducing road trauma.

The award highlights impactful reporting that not only informs the public but also engages road safety experts, policymakers, and affected communities. Submissions can span various media formats – including print, broadcast, digital, and social media – and must have been published or aired between 1 May 2025 and 30 April 2026.

Both self-nominated submissions and member submissions are welcomed. Those submitting are invited to showcase how their work incorporates credible research, amplifies stakeholder voices, raises public awareness, and advocates for change to reduce fatalities and serious injuries on our roads.
This initiative reflects the Australasian College of Road Safety’s commitment to promoting informed, evidence-led public dialogue as a key driver of safer roads for all.
