Prix Acier Formé à Froid

Récompense les projets qui utilisent efficacement les techniques d’acier formé à froid, démontrant l’adaptabilité et l’efficacité du matériau dans diverses applications. Les critères incluent l’innovation, la créativité, l’impact sur la conception structurelle et la mise en œuvre réussie.

Prix Hors Province

Reconnaît l’excellence dans la conception de structures en acier situées à l’extérieur du Québec, où l’ingéniosité et l’innovation sont des facteurs clés.

Prix Structures Industrielles

Récompense l’excellence dans les structures industrielles en acier, mettant en avant la créativité et l’innovation.

Prix Ponts

Reconnaît l’excellence dans la conception et la construction de ponts en acier.

Prix Durabilité

Pour les projets qui démontrent un leadership en matière de conception durable, d’efficacité des matériaux, de conception modulaire ou d’utilisation de structures hybrides à faible empreinte carbone.

Prix Innovation

Pour les projets qui font progresser l’industrie grâce à des conceptions innovantes, de nouveaux produits, des investissements technologiques ou des méthodes novatrices de livraison et d’installation.

Prix Architecture

Met en lumière des conceptions architecturales remarquables où l’esthétique et la créativité sont au cœur du projet.

Prix Ingénierie

Reconnaît l’excellence en ingénierie dans la conception de structures en acier.

Prix Projet de Recherche

Récompense les contributions exceptionnelles d’un projet de recherche académique visant à promouvoir l’utilisation de l’acier dans la construction.

Admissibilité

Projets Hors Province : admissibles si :

• Le fabricant d’acier est membre de la région Québec de l’ICCA, ou
• L’ingénieur-conseil est membre de la région Québec de l’ICCA, ou
• Le détailleur est membre de la région Québec de l’ICCA

Projets au Québec : doivent inclure au moins un membre ou associé de l’ICCA dans l’un des rôles suivants :

• Fabricant d’acier
• Ingénieur-conseil
• Monteur d’acier
• Dessinateur en acier

Calendrier de réalisation

Les projets doivent être terminés entre le 1er avril 2023 et le 1er juin 2026.
La structure en acier doit être significativement achevée avant le 1er juin 2026.

Limite de catégories : un projet peut être soumis dans un maximum de deux catégories.

Processus de soumission

Soumettez votre projet via le portail en ligne officiel avant le 1er juin 2026 (23 h 59, heure de l’Est).

Informations requises :

• Nom et emplacement du projet
• Liste complète de l’équipe (propriétaire, architecte, ingénieur, fabricant, dessinateur, monteur)
• Description du projet (500 mots max) mettant en valeur ses aspects architecturaux, techniques, durables ou innovants
• Minimum de cinq photos couleur haute résolution (JPEG)
• Une confirmation sera envoyée par courriel après la soumission, et les dossiers pourront être mis à jour jusqu’à la date limite.

Évaluation

Un jury composé d’architectes, d’ingénieurs en structure, d’universitaires, de représentants des médias et de leaders de l’industrie — sans lien avec les projets soumis — évaluera les candidatures.

The portal to submit your outstanding projects for the 2026 QC Awards of Excellence in Steel Construction is now OPEN. With ten award categories representing the core pillars of steel construction, this program celebrates the innovation and excellence shaping our industry. This is your opportunity to showcase the outstanding work your team has completed for the industry to see.

The deadline to submit your projects is June 1, 2026.

Award Categories

Projects must be submitted for 1 or more of the following categories:

• Cold Form Steel Award
• Out of Province Award
• Industrial Structures Award
• Bridge Award
• Sustainability Award
• Innovation Award
• Architectural Award
• Engineering Award
• Research Project Award

Cold Form Steel Award

Celebrates projects that effectively utilize cold form steel techniques, demonstrating the material's adaptability and effectiveness in various applications. Considerations for this award include the innovative use of cold form steel in construction, creativity, the impact on structural design, and successful implementation in diverse project environments.

Out of Province Award

Recognizing excellence in the design of steel structures where ingenuity, creativity, and innovation are the primary influencing factors in design and construction located outside of Quebec.

Industrial Structures Award

Recognizing excellence in industrial steel structures where ingenuity, creativity, and innovation are the primary influencing factors in design and construction.

Bridge Award

Recognizing excellence in steel bridges where ingenuity, creativity, and innovation are the primary influencing factors in design and construction.

Sustainability Award
For projects showing leadership in advancing the steel construction industry through sustainable design, material efficiency improvements, modular design, or the use of low carbon hybrid structures.

Innovation Award

For projects showing leadership in advancing the steel construction industry through innovative design, new products, technological investments, innovative project delivery and installation.

Architectural Award

Highlighting outstanding architectural design in steel structures where aesthetic considerations drive the design, emphasizing creativity and innovation.

Engineering Award

Recognizing engineering excellence in the design of steel structures where ingenuity, creativity, and innovation are the primary influencing factors in design and construction.

Research Project Award

Recognizing outstanding contributions of an academic research project to furthering the use of steel in construction through material testing, innovative design solutions, improved construction processes and more.

Eligibility

Out-of-Province Projects

Projects outside QC are eligible if:

• the steel fabricator is a CISC QC region member or
• the consulting engineer is a CISC QC region member
• the steel detailer is a CISC QC region member

QC Projects

Must have:

• At least one of the project team members must be a CISC member/associate in one of the following roles:
  • Steel Fabricator
  • Consulting Engineer
  • Steel Erector
  • Steel Detailer

Completion Timeline

Projects must be completed between April 1, 2023 and June 1, 2026.* *The steel structure must be significantly completed before June 1 2026.

Category Limit

Projects may be submitted to a maximum of two categories.

Submission Process

Submit your project through the official online portal by June  1, 2026 (11:59 Eastern Time).

You’ll Need to Provide:

• Project name and location
• Full team listing (Owner, Architect, Engineer, Fabricator, Detailer, Erector)
• Project description (up to 500 words) showcasing its architectural, technical, sustainable, or innovative achievements
• Minimum five high-resolution color photos (JPEG).
• Upon submission, a confirmation emails will be sent, and submissions may be updated until the deadline

Judging

A jury of architects, structural engineers, academics, media representatives, and industry leaders—none of whom are connected to the submitted projects—will evaluate entries.
