BMA Elevate Year 12 Scholarship 2026
(administered by the QMEA Scholarship Service)

These BMA Scholarships will be awarded to applicants who demonstrate talent, effort and potential with an interest in pursuing a trade or STEM pathway into the resource industry.

There are two $1,800 scholarships per QMEA-BMA partner school available. One scholarship will support a student pursuing a trade pathway and one will support a student pursuing a STEM pathway, with both pathways connected to future opportunities in the resources sector.
 

To be eligible for the BMA Elevate Year 12 Scholarships, applicants must:

-Be enrolled at a BMA-QMEA partner school and undertaking Year 12 in 2026
[Note: BMA-QMEA partner schools are Dysart SHS, Mackay North SHS, Mackay Northern Beaches SHS, Mackay SHS, Moranbah SHS, Pioneer SHS and Sarina SHS];
-Graduate in the year of the scholarship award;
-Be an Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen;
-Intend to pursue a trade or STEM-aligned post-school pathway;
-Demonstrate an interest in the resources sector.

Students wishing to apply for the BMA Elevate Year 12 Scholarship should:

1. Click on Submit an Entry and complete the online Registration Form and the Submission Form.
2. Upload a Teacher Endorsement Form (signed by endorsing teacher, Principal, QMEA Key Teacher & Parent)
3. Upload a copy of your last Report Card.
4. Complete and upload the Scholarship Declaration Form.
5. Ensure all documentation is uploaded and all fields completed and click Submit.

Applications OPEN: Monday 24 August 2026
Applications CLOSE: 5:00pm Friday 9 October 2026

Scholarships will be presented at each BMA-QMEA partner school's Awards Night by a BMA Industry Representative.
