Jellinbah Group University Scholarship 2026
(administered by the QMEA Scholarship Management Service)

To be eligible for the Jellinbah Group University Scholarship 2026, applicants must:

-Have completed Year 12 in 2025;
-Be an Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen;
-Be residing in one of the following postcode areas: 4700, 4701, 4703, 4704, 4710, 4712, 4714, 4717, 4720;
-Be pursuing university studies in disciplines critical to the mining sector including: engineering, surveying, environmental sciences, geology, digital technology and related STEM courses; and
-Be applying to study at either Central Queensland University (CQUniversity) or James Cook University (JCU)

There are two $14,000 scholarships available (each consisting of two $7,000 payments).

These Jellinbah Group University Scholarships will be awarded to 2025, Year 12 graduates who have demonstrated leadership, community spirit and commitment to entering into the resources and energy industry.

Students wishing to apply for the Jellinbah Group University Scholarship should:

2. Complete and upload the Scholarship Declaration Form
3. Upload all relevant information (including the Scholarship Declaration Form) and documentation to support your application

Applications CLOSE: 5:00pm Friday 13 February 2026
Interviews held: mid-March 2026
Announcement of Successful Recipients: early-April 2026
