The Employment Champion Award is presented by the New Jersey Association of Community Providers (NJACP) to honor a New Jersey employer that demonstrates exceptional leadership in hiring, advancing, and supporting people with disabilities by creating meaningful pathways to inclusion and success in the workplace.

This award recognizes an employer that actively invests in an inclusive workforce and provides meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. The recipient organization offers skill development, advancement opportunities, and supportive workplace practices that enable individuals with disabilities to thrive within the organization.
NJACP seeks to recognize an employer that:

• Intentionally recruits, hires, and retains employees with disabilities
• Provides equitable access to training, mentorship, and career advancement
• Implements effective workplace supports and accommodations that promote productivity and independence
• Fosters a workplace culture in which inclusion, dignity, and opportunity are embedded in everyday practice

The successful nomination will clearly demonstrate a positive impact on the professional growth and quality of life of employees with disabilities, illustrating how intentional inclusive employment practices can transform both individual lives and the broader workforce.

It is important to note that only complete nomination packets that are received at the NJACP office no later than Monday, February 9, 2026, 11:59 p.m.., will be considered.  The nomination packets must include all written materials as well as the signature of the agency Executive Director/CEO as well as letters of support.
