The Queensland Wahine in Business Awards (QWIB) celebrate the achievements of Wahine Māori and Pasifika in business making an impact in Queensland.

The 2026 Awards are held during Tangaroa, a phase of the Maramataka associated with abundance and productivity — a fitting time to recognise the wahine growing businesses, creating jobs, and strengthening their communities across the state.

Now in our second year, QWIB exists to name and celebrate work that too often goes unrecognised — from sole operators to established founders. Finalists and winners will be honoured at the 2026 Awards Ceremony on Friday 21 November at Kanteen Events, Waterford, with arrivals from 6:30pm. Judging takes place between 15 September and 15 October 2026.
