The annual AMEC Awards recognise outstanding achievement across Australia’s mining and mineral exploration industry.

We invite you to nominate an individual, company or project for the 2026 AMEC Awards, or to self-nominate, and have your achievement recognised by industry peers. Entries will be reviewed by an experienced judging panel with senior industry, operational and leadership expertise.

Recognises the individual or geoscientific team responsible for an outstanding mineral discovery in Australia. The award considers the significance of the discovery and the technical excellence, leadership, innovation and persistence behind it.
