Celebrating green building leadership and excellence

Nominations for the 2026 CAGBC Green Building and Leadership Awards are now open. 

Submissions for the Andy Kesteloo Memorial Project Award are being accepted until June 1st.

The CAGBC Awards is a national competition that recognizes CAGBC Corporate Members and their employees who have contributed to the advancement of green building in Canada. These national awards are presented at CAGBC's annual green building conference, Building Lasting Change, and are divided into two categories: 

1) The Green Building Awards recognize Canada's most effecient, effective and impactful buildings.

2) The Leadership Awards recognize individuals, organizations or teams that have contributed to the success of Canada's green building industry.

The Andy Kesteloo Memorial Student Project Award is named in memory of Andy Kesteloo, a visionary green building advocate who shared his commitment to sustainability with humour, insight, and passion. The award is open to either a current undergraduate or graduate student or student who has completed their project within two calendar years of the Award submission deadline.

To learn more about the criteria of each award category, visit cagbc.org/awards. In order to be eligible to receive an Award, the winning individual or organization must be a CAGBC Corporate Member in good standing. There is no cost to submit a nomination.

To start your submission, click the "Submit an Entry" button at the top of this page, creating a new user profile first if you have not yet done so. Once your basic Judgify profile is created, you will select the award category you are submitting for and enter your submission information. Please note that you can save your entry before submitting it, and return to your work in progress by logging back into Judgify with your user credentials.

Les candidatures pour les Prix du bâtiment durable et du leadership 2026 du CBDCA sont maintenant ouvertes.

Les soumissions pour le Prix commémoratif de projet Andy Kesteloo sont acceptées jusqu’au 1er juin.

Les Prix du CBDCA constituent un concours national qui reconnaît les membres corporatifs du CBDCA et leurs employés ayant contribué à l’avancement du bâtiment durable au Canada. Ces prix nationaux sont remis lors de la conférence annuelle sur le bâtiment durable du CBDCA, Bâtir un changement durable, et sont divisés en deux catégories :

1. Les Prix du bâtiment durable récompensent les bâtiments les plus efficaces, performants et marquants du Canada.

2. Les Prix du leadership reconnaissent les personnes, organisations ou équipes ayant contribué au succès de l’industrie du bâtiment durable au Canada.

Le Prix commémoratif de projet étudiant Andy Kesteloo est nommé en mémoire d’Andy Kesteloo, un défenseur visionnaire du bâtiment durable qui partageait son engagement envers la durabilité avec humour, perspicacité et passion. Ce prix est ouvert aux étudiants actuels de premier cycle ou de cycles supérieurs, ainsi qu’aux étudiants ayant complété leur projet dans les deux années civiles précédant la date limite de soumission.

Pour en savoir plus sur les critères de chaque catégorie de prix, visitez cagbc.org/awards. Pour être admissible à recevoir un prix, la personne ou l’organisation gagnante doit être un membre corporatif du CBDCA en règle. Aucun frais n’est exigé pour soumettre une candidature.
