Gosford Regional Gallery is pleased to present the Gosford Art Prize 2026.

This year the total prize pool is worth over $55,000

$25,000 Acquisitive Gosford Art Prize
$10,000 Ceramics Prize
$10,000 First Nations Artist Prize
$10,000 Moving Image Art Award
$1,000 x 2 Highly Commended Awards
$500 People's Choice Award

Entrants in all categories are eligible for the Aquisitive Gosford Art Prize.

The Gosford Art Prize began in 1970 as a community art project and has since grown to become one of the region's premier cultural events. The 2026 iteration is the 27th time the prize will be presented at Gosford Regional Gallery.

The competition is open to artists across Australia and attracts entries in all mediums. Artworks must have been completed within the last 12 months (after 20 July 2025)

Finalists will be announced on 7 August 2026.

Award winners will be announced at an exhibition opening event on Friday 25 September 2026.

The Prize finalists' exhibition runs from 26 September to 22 November 2026.
