Recognising Excellence. Driving Progress.
Welcome to the nomination platform for the Women in Construction Awards 2026.
The British construction industry is evolving through technical skill and a commitment to a more professional, inclusive workforce. These awards recognise the individuals and organisations delivering complex projects, managing successful businesses, and fostering a culture of respect across the sector.
In 2026, we are searching for nominees who provide clear evidence of leadership, resilience, and a measurable impact on the built environment.
Why Submit a Nomination?
Participation in the Women in Construction Awards offers a significant opportunity to:
Highlight Professional Standards: Showcase high-quality work delivered across UK sites and boardrooms.
Encourage Recruitment: Provide visible examples of success to help attract new talent to the sector.
Benchmark Success: Measure your initiatives against the industry’s highest standards through our rigorous, independent judging process.
The 2026 Categories
We are inviting entries across 12 distinct categories, covering site-based trades, project management, corporate leadership, and advocacy. Please review the specific requirements for each category within the portal before beginning your submission.
The Scoring Framework
To maintain the integrity of these awards, every submission is evaluated against a 100-point framework. Our judges prioritise factual evidence and tangible results over general statements.
Entry Requirements:
Strict Word Counts: Each question has a specific minimum and maximum word count. Entries that fall outside these ranges may be penalised.
Weighted Scoring: While most questions are scored out of 10, key questions regarding measurable impact, innovation, and sustainability are weighted at 15 points.
Judging Scale: Judges will assess your answers based on the following quality markers:
Outstanding (90%–100% of available points): Detailed, measurable impact with clear evidence.
Strong (80%–90% of available points): Well-evidenced and authentic examples.
Satisfactory (50%–70% of available points): Meets the basic criteria with some examples.
Limited (Under 50% of available points): Lacks detail, clarity, or supporting evidence.
